Music
My music is mostly light and instrumental. Jazz and classical music have also greatly influenced me.
I did the soundtrack for this project by Radiiate Design for SocialGo. Really pleased with the outcome!
I was directly exposed to a massive flood of music even before I was born. My mother (still alive) was a "vertuoso" on both piano and violin. A daily dose of music lessons etc must have taught me the basic language of music.
I started playing the piano accordian by ear at five. My two brothers, guitar and mandolin, expanded my abilities to search for a wider variety of colour in the music spectrum.
Six months of piano lessons proved to be useless.My mind was far too lazy to start reading music and theory. The piano became my most favourite instrument. It offered such a wide spectrum of tones as well as feelings and emotions.
Other band members were added and changed with years. We had wonderfull gigs, such as New Years Parties during high school years and formal shows during University.
I played piano at the five star restaurant (Ambassador) in the Burgerspark Hotel in Pretoria for two years. This stage forced me to use the piano to it's full potential.
I purchased a Yamaha Clavinova three years ago. As a technically illiterate musician (education wise), this enabled me to compose and record for the first time.
