Paradise Circle
A very steeply sloped stand with incredible indigenous Knysna forest posed quite a challenge. My brief (from my wife) was to design a box (shaped) double story house with a strong symmetric centerline. This had to be achieved without too much damage to the amazing indigenous bush. Living space downstairs had to be open plan, all with views over Knysna's estuary through the heads to the ocean. All four bedrooms upstairs had to have a framed view to the ocean.
